About the Workshop

Join our relaxed, small-group workshop where you will learn how to make a Classic Folded Leather Strap Keyring by hand. This is a simple, well-designed piece that looks professional and is ideal for beginners. You will be guided through measuring and cutting leather, edge finishing, and fitting hardware. You will also have the opportunity to hand stamp initials into your keyring, adding a personal touch to the finished piece. The focus is on learning core leatherworking skills at a comfortable, unhurried pace. You will be able to choose from a small selection of leather colours and hardware finishes, while working to the same design so everyone can complete their piece with confidence. What you will learn: - Measuring and cutting leather - Preparing and finishing edges - Hand-stamping initials - Fitting keyring hardware The workshop is suitable for beginners and no prior experience is needed. All tools and materials are provided, and there will be plenty of time to ask questions along the way. You will leave with a finished Classic Folded Leather Strap Keyring, personalised with your initials and ready to use. Workshop led by: Lisa Kinrade Location: Ousebank House, High Street, Newport Pagnell, MK16 8AR Next door to Cake Secret, the pink building on the corner of Ousebank Street. Duration: Approximately 2 hours. Price: £45 per person. Refreshments: Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Parking: Ousebank House has a small amount of free parking at the rear of the building. There are also several free car parks nearby, including Silver Street and the Medical Centre. Please allow a full 2.5 hours for your visit.
