Leather Keyring Beginner Workshop

About the Workshop

This group workshop is a good introduction to leathercraft and an enjoyable way to learn some of the basic skills used in working with leather. During the evening you will make a leather keyring while learning the techniques used to prepare, shape and finish the leather by hand. Working at a steady and relaxed pace, you will be guided through each stage of the process and have the opportunity to personalise your keyring. What you will learn: • Preparing and shaping leather • Edge sanding and burnishing • Hole punching and rivet setting • Assembling the keyring and hardware This workshop is suitable for beginners and no previous experience is required. You will leave with a finished leather keyring made by hand. All tools, materials and light refreshments are included. Location: Ousebank House, Newport Pagnell.
