About the Workshop
In this small group workshop you will make a leather card holder while learning the techniques used to assemble and finish a practical everyday item.
Working with quality vegetable-tanned leather, you will be guided through each stage of the process and develop your leatherworking skills.
What you will learn:
• Preparing and shaping leather pieces
• Edge finishing and burnishing
• Punching holes and assembling the card holder
• Final finishing and care
Some previous leathercraft experience is helpful for this workshop. If you are new to leatherwork, you may prefer to begin with one of the shorter workshops such as the keyring or luggage tag workshop before attending this session.
You will leave with a finished leather card holder made by hand.
Small group workshop.
All tools, materials and light refreshments are included.
Location: Ousebank House, Newport Pagnell.
