About Jack & Rose

Jack & Rose is named after my grandparents who were Londoners and small-business owners. My business is inspired by the values they lived and worked by.

Meet the Maker

"I started building Jack & Rose in 2010, making silk clutch bags to go with my mum's hats for her millinery business - progressing to leatherwork some years later.

At Jack & Rose, each piece is made by hand in my workshop. I work in small batches or make to order, focusing on practical design, careful construction and materials chosen to last.

My background spans leatherwork, bag making and millinery, alongside work as a costume designer on a stage musical. Working across these disciplines has shaped a practical, problem-solving approach to making, with particular attention to construction, proportion and fit.

Skills developed in costume and millinery continue to influence my work today, especially in pattern cutting, structure and finishing, whether I’m making a bag, a cap or a small leather piece."
